Fishing Report 03/17/2022
River Report for 3/17/22
It’s another beautiful day in Salmon, Idaho! Currently, the river is flowing at 935 cfs and has
2.5’ to 3’ of visibility in Salmon. Water temps have been in the low to mid 40-degree range. The
weather forecast is showing below freezing nighttime temps, which should keep water clarity in
good shape.
All boat ramps in the Salmon area are plowed and usable. Use caution if using the Town ramp.
It looks like we lost some of it to the river and it has a very abrupt edge.
Fishing has been good and very few anglers are present. Swinging flies are still finding fish as
well as nymphing. Stop by the shop for all the best producing flies and equipment.
We are still shuttling vehicles, so stop in and get everything arranged.
See you on the water!
