      The use of bamboo dates to our founding in 1929, when Robert Winther and Lew Stoner began innovating with the material, and eventually patented the hollow-fluting process we still use today. The craftsmanship is legendary. The performance is something every angler should experience. Bamboo is part of Winston’s DNA.
